The South Carolina Chef Ambassador Program seeks chefs who embody the best of South Carolina's food scene, both in the quality of their ingredients and in their devotion to playing an active role in their communities—distinguishing themselves as culinary leaders. Each year, four chefs are hand-picked from different parts of the state. After being chosen, the chefs spend a year displaying their admiration for South Carolina's culinary scene through various in- and out-of-state events.
