From walking on the beach to renting a paddleboard or kayak and exploring the marshes surrounding the island, there's plenty to keep the family busy on an Edisto Island vacation. If you are into fishing, book a trip with one of the many fishing charters available to get you out on the water. Or perhaps your idea of recreation is to just sit in a beach chair and let the waves lap at your feet. Whatever your idea of recreation is, Edisto Island is the place for you!

The Beach
With 37 public access points to the island’s five miles of beautiful shoreline, getting to the beach couldn’t be easier, no matter where you are staying on Edisto Island.
